WINDOW CLEANING FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
We do all of our window cleaning from the safety of the ground with our vehicle-mounted, pure water Reach & Wash Systems.
First, tap water is triple filtered and purified at our base in Lincoln (as you may have noticed Lincolnshire’s water is very hard – you can see this by how cloudy a glass of tap water is – so we take extra precautions in our filtration process) and transported in large water tanks in our vans. We then pump our ultra-pure water up telescopic poles with specialist brush heads. The dirt is scrubbed from your frames, glass and sills and then the window is rinsed and left to dry naturally. We leave your windows wet, as the water is so pure it dries without leaving any marks or white droplets. No more dirty water or cloth’s that have been used on other houses.
By using this method, we can reach and clean windows that traditional window cleaners cannot, even above your conservatory or low-level pitched roofs, it maintains your privacy and is compliant with current health and safety legislation.

Yes, we take extra precautions and have consulted with health and safety advisers to ensure we have the correct risk assessments, policies and procedures in place. Currently all of our work is outside so are able to carry out cleaning. We have reduced internal window cleaning to commercial customers only when there is no staff on site. For your safety there is no contact: appointment reminders, invoices and payments are done digitally. All staff currently travel alone in their designated van or if needed, PPE is worn when there are more than one staff member in a van.
We clean gutters with our industrial power gutter vacuums. We use carbon poles to reach up to 4 floors and suck all debris out leaving nothing left in the gutter. We will take all waste material away with us. Occasionally we may need to manually remove debris if, for instance, you have gutter protectors.
We will send you a text reminder the day before. Due to the nature of our job, it is hard to give an exact time ie. we may have to stop temporarily due to weather conditions, we could get stuck in traffic etc. We request that you leave any gates open on the day of the clean and we can lock them afterwards. If you need us to be there by a specific time, please do let us know with plenty of notice and we will try our best to accommodate it.
We will still clean in the rain, as long as it’s safe and not torrential. As we use pure water, the rain should not affect the quality of the clean. If for any reason it does, let us know within 24 hours and we will return and reclean free of charge!

We scrub the dirt of with our brushes and then rinse them down with pure water, leaving them wet. They should dry crystal clear with no sports or streaks as we use pure water. As they are left to dry naturally, we would never squeegee or wipe them down as this would leave streaks.
We have many digital options for you to make a payment such as direct debit (this is our preferred payment option) with payments only ever debited AFTER we clean. There is also online debit/credit card and BACS payment options.

Externally no, we truly believe using our pure water, Reach and Wash system delivers better results, is safer for you and our window cleaners, as well as maintaining your privacy.
We do however use traditional methods on the inside of your windows. The floor would get a bit wet if not!
